MIS is used for trading intraday equity, using this product code you will get an intraday leverage between 3 to 5 times based on what stock you are trading. All the positions under this code will get automatically squared off at 3:15 PM.
CNC product code id used for delivery based trading of equity. In this code you will not get any leverage nor will be your positions are squared off. To sell using the product code CNC, you need to hold that particular stock in Demat A/c.

How Are Derivatives ?

We at HENSEX offer 2 different products. Trader need to use one of these product codes every time he places a trade through our trading platform.
MIS product code is used for trading intraday Equity, Currencies & Commodity, Using this products code you will get an intraday leverage between 3 to 5 times. For F&O, the margin required will be 35% and 45 % of total margin required. No margin is provided for buying options. All positions under the MIS product code will get automatically squared off at 3:15 PM for Equity derivatives, 4:45 PM for currency derivatives and 11:15 PM for commodity derivatives.
NRML product code is used for overnight trading of future and options. If the client does not want any excess leverage, he can use the product type NRML, and he would not have to worry about auto square-offs.

EQUITY DERIVATIVES

Equity Derivatives are instruments whose values are partly derived from one or more underlying equity asset class. Future & Options are the most commodity traded equity derivatives products. Equity derivatives are used to hedge risk associated with long or short position, or to speculate on the price movement of stock or indices.

EQUITY FUTURES

Equity Future is financial contract in which the parties are obligated to buy or sell the underlying at a pre determined price at the future date. Equity future comes in with a maximum three month expiry period with last Thursday of that particular month being the settlement day. The biggest advantage of equity future Trading is that it gives you an option to buy as well as short sell. This is a unique advantage of equity future trading that you are allowed to sell stock without owning them.
There are various offering like Index Future, Stock Future, International Future and volatility future for investors to trade and benefit from them.

With equity option trading, you have the right, but not the obligation to buy or sell the particular underlying stock or index at a pre- determined price on or before the expiration date.
There are two types of equity options- Call or Put, A Call option contract holder the right, but not the obligation to purchase share of a particular underlying stock at the pre- specified strike price on or before the expiration date. On the other hand, a put option contact gives the holder the right, but not the obligation to sell share. Non Convertible Debentures

Non convertible Debentures are long term financial instruments issued by company for specified tenure with a promise to pay fixed interest to investor. Debentures are of two types, namely convertible debenture & non convertible debenture NCD. Non convertible debentures are those which cannot be converted into shares or equities.
NCD investment can be held by individuals, banking companies, primary dealers, NRIs, FIIs.
The benefit for investors is that NCD are listed on the open market and exchanges hence, easily tradable. Interest on NCD investment is directly credited to bank a/c. NCD are issued and traded only DEMAT form.

BONDS

Bonds are debt instruments, when you purchase any type of bond; you are lending money to the issuer which may be a corporation, the government a federal agency or any other entity. Corporate National Pension Scheme (NPS)

Corporate National Pension scheme is similar to the Provident Fund scheme offered by employers to employees. NPS is available for both public and private companies. Under corporate NPS models, investment of up to 10% of basic salary +DA is deductible from taxable income under Income Tax Act 1961. This is over and above of Rs.1,50,000 u/s 80C, for employees. For Employer they can show it as business expenses in the profit and loss account.
